Little Good Harbour
here’s something in the air in this secluded spot which is seductively idle, and it is encouraged and enhanced by the beautiful suites and cossetting facilities of Little Good Harbour. Overlooking a little beach of pale soft sand, and close to the picturesque village of Shermans, the hotel is built around and within the 17th century Fort Rupert. The historic building has been tastefully restored to create the well-loved Fish Pot restaurant and bar and to house two of the twenty one suites. The rest are designed as a cluster of chattel style cottages, set amid colourful gardens around a small pool, separated from the fort by a minor road, and with direct access to the beach.
Elegantly understated and styled with cool colours and Balinese furniture, each of the suites has a separate living room and fully equipped kitchen, adding convenience to comfort. And the hotel’s Little Spa is exactly described in the name. Watersports, fishing trips and yacht charters can all be arranged locally, and the hotel is a twenty minute drive from golf and tennis facilities, and ten minutes from Speightstown.
