Villa Olmo
Villa Olmo is a recently refurbished and very fine example of our growing collection of luxury villas in this relatively untouristed but intriguing part of Umbria. The house has large living spaces and shady outdoor sitting and relaxation areas which jut into the garden and offer the opportunity to enjoy those great views throughout the seasons.
Outside, there is a spacious lawned garden, occupying 1.5 hectares in total and with excellent views down across the valley which spreads out beyond. There is a wonderful pool area with the additional bonus of a relaxing hot tub.
Furnished and decorated to a very high standard, the style is modern yet sympathetic to the surroundings and will appeal to those looking for a fresh and up to date decor with the large kitchen and bathrooms being particularly striking.
The hamlet of Capitone, with origins dating back to at least the 1400s is a short walk from the house. Here, the local saint's day is celebrated in late July with a horse race to mark the Festa di Sant' Andrea. The ancient town of Amelia can boast links as far back as the 11th century BC however, and is considered one of the oldest recorded settlements in the whole of Italy. Many archeological, artistic and cultural treasures remain on show to this day. The area has plenty of good local eating options as one would expect from this lesser-touristed part of the wonderful region of Umbria.

The pool is open from mid May to mid September. Outside these dates, the pool can be opened on request for an extra charge.
Welcome Provisions Included
A welcome gesture to offer you a drink after your journey; tea or coffee and biscuits, wine or juice and a snack. They are not sufficient for an entire meal. Owners will also generally leave a few other items to get you going such as some salt, sugar, oil, bin bags and toilet paper.
Food Hamper
Can be arranged for an additional cost and €30 service charge payable locally. For guests who are arriving late or who recognize they may be delayed and arrive with no time to do shopping. Most shops are shut on Sundays, so the aim of the Food Hampers is to provide two light meals and two breakfasts, to allow guests to go out for one meal, then do more shopping on Monday. We can adapt these hampers to take into account allergies, dislikes and dietary requirements, or according to whether there are children in the party.

Tenancy Times
