This beautiful house was designed by a well known Corfiot architect and combines the character of traditional materials and features with the comfort and convenience of contemporary design. It has the welcoming atmosphere of a well loved home. The views are outstanding with a beautiful aspect of Corfu’s northeast coast. The terraced gardens and flower beds that surround the house lead down to well tended olive groves with a path and right of way to the beach. Comfortable sofas, well stocked book shelves and paintings and objects from the owners’ home in England contribute to the settled and intimate charm of the villa. There is a beautiful shady loggia, an extension of the kitchen for outdoor meals and the main terrace is furnished with steamer chairs that are perfectly in keeping with the gracious atmosphere of the villa. The swimming pool, on a lower level with its own paved terraces for sunbathing, is gated for security. The views are magical, down over the silver lined olive trees to the enchanting little bay of Yialiskari, just five minutes walk down the hill. The restaurants of Agni are a further five minutes walk along the coastal path.
