There are just twenty five separate cottage suites, spaciously scattered across the slopes and beside the beach. While those at the shore have a large lounge area, each of the hillside suites has a generous sundeck and private plunge pool, and all have an oversize bathtub and outdoor garden shower.
Décor is elegantly simple, the contemporary design given a Caribbean twist with use of local materials. And the tempo of the whole resort is relaxed and refreshing, with a tranquil spa in a secluded spot, an open-sided restaurant tiered for bay views from every table, a seafront swimming pool served by a poolside bar, and a range of water sports from the sands. A thirty minute drive from St. John’s, golf and tennis are ten minutes away.
