The quiet village of Perigiali lies just 700 metres away down on the coast, with its own small beach called Passa. Fishing boats tie up at the village quayside, virtually guaranteeing a pleasant meal of fresh fish in the area. The busy and cosmopolitan town of Nidri is 2km down the coast and well worth a visit. The beauty of its setting cannot be denied, and it is the starting point for some wonderful boat trips, and definitely a place for yacht spotting.
