Beautifully decorated, Calypso is set in mature gardens on the same hillside as its sister villas Dora and Animari and occupies a slightly higher position, but all three properties are completely separate from each other and enjoy good privacy. The views are superb, overlooking the harbour of Gaios and its encircling headlands. With accommodation on two floors, connected by a spiral staircase, every room has a beautiful view.
The gardens are big enough for everyone to have plenty of space to enjoy a swim or sunbathe and the built-in barbecue contributes to the pleasures of outdoor eating especially in the evening with the harbour lights sparkling below. This is an ideal 'chill-out' location, with nothing more demanding to do than swim, take a boat out to explore the vividly-coloured bays, or enjoy fresh fish meals right next to the boats that bought in the catch of the day.
