Villa Calliope

Villa Calliope is a Tuscan hunting lodge built in 1817 by Cavalieri Malovolti. The surrounding land is still owned by the same family and is a private reserve. The lodge was bought by the present owners in 2008 and restored in its original style while adding many up to the minute energy-saving features. The interior design was carried out with sensitivity and passion by the same interior designer responsible for the refurbishment of the ever popular Villa Michele.
The latest addition to our award-winning collection of luxury rental properties in Tuscany is equipped to a very high standard and includes environmentally friendly cooling and heating systems, meaning that the villa is truly comfortable at all times of year. This luxurious villa is situated a short distance outside Buonconvento, an old town on the pilgrim's route to Rome which was recently nominated as one of the most beautiful towns in Italy. There are many small speciality shops and restaurants nearby as well as a supermarket.

5m x 15m, 2m to 1.2m deep with built-in steps.
The pool is open from mid May until mid September. Outside these dates, the pool can be opened on request for an extra charge.
