Steps lead down through the garden to the attractive gated pool area. Nearby Siena is within very easy reach  for shopping, sightseeing and an evening 'aperitivo' followed by a meal in a favourite trattoria and a 'gelato'  - always a particular pleasure in Italy. The house is also within reach of other hill towns of southern Tuscany and northern Umbria and the owners are delighted to offer their personal recommendations for sightseeing, walking and bicycle hire and massage.
