A royal property in a regal setting, this huge villa is perched in splendid seclusion on a cliff-top overlooking the Bay of Lagos. There are super-sized sea-view terraces and steps down to its own beach, and there are royal crests on the bedheads and embroidered sheets, but the house was designed by Dona Filipa for holidays with family and friends, and it retains its informal atmosphere and personal touches.
Facilities include table tennis in the games room, a grand piano in the music room, a bar at pool terrace level, and a private chapel which makes a perfect wedding venue. The style of this unique house is one of past grandeur, beamed ceilings, antique tiles and traditional furnishings adding character to comfort. Cook service is available if required, to complement the Casa da Filipa experience.feels very separate and private, it is actually just 2km from the fishing village of Ferragudo and 6km from busy Portimao. Golf, tennis and water sports are all a very short drive away.
