While this former finca retains its old-world character in beamed ceilings, blue shutters, and al fresco terraces cloaked in greenery, its quality, comfort and facilities are very much this century. Accessed through electric gates, a driveway lined with cypress, carob and olive trees leads to the imposing stone house, where spacious rooms are fully air-conditioned and furnished in attractive country style. On the ground floor, a dining room and lovely living room open on to terraces furnished with cushioned cane, creating equally comfortable outdoor living.
Across a broad sweep of manicured lawns, sun-loungers line up on the swimming pool terrace, and a trio of thatched parasols cluster at one corner for welcome shade. Cook service could add an extra dimension to relaxation here, and Le Jardin also features as a wedding venue. Pollensa has a lively variety of shops and eateries 4km from the villa, with various sports and Puerto Pollensa beach a little further.
