Essentially an open-air villa, its indoor/outdoor living spaces blend imperceptibly, encompassing three airy bedrooms, each with its own ocean- view terrace; and a beautiful living room in cool blue and white, with high limed-wood ceilings, big soft sofas and bags of space, open both sides to sea and garden views.
If this is the social hub within the house, a romantic dining gazebo is its al fresco equivalent, overlooking the swimming pool in its gorgeous garden setting. The former residence of the island’s Managing Director, the villa and its team of five long-serving staff have played host to celebrities, dignitaries and a steady stream of royalty. The cook’s desserts are legendary, as is Sapphire itself. It is a twelve minute drive from sports and restaurants.
